It’s great to start the year with a dose of inspiration.

If not for family or friends, you can always get inspired by highly successful people on Earth. Many billionaires came from the tech industry and have since never left their post in the Billionaire Club.

If you want to sit with them, maybe you can pick their brain and learn more about them through their humble beginnings.

Most of them started their companies in the garage, being a quiet and safe place.

It is true indeed that the biggest concepts frequently emerge in the strangest circumstances. Because of their, quote, unquote, humble origins, these businesses are well renowned for their tales and have inspired many people.

Some have even claimed that these legends already exist in Silicon Valley. It now forms a significant part of the perception of the technology sector, which many start-up businesses find inspiring.

We provided some motivational accounts of innovative startups that had humble beginnings in garages.

Apple founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak

The story that Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak founded Apple in the garage of Jobs' childhood home has been repeated numerous times.

The Los Altos Historical Commission designated the house, which is situated in Los Altos, California, as a historic site in 2013. Wozniak has reportedly told the media that the garage narrative is not accurate. It is clear that Jobs and Wozniak spent a lot of time and discussed many of their brilliant thoughts in the garage. However, product concepts, prototypes, and planning were not carried out in the garage. As many people might have been led to believe, there was no manufacturing taking place in Steve Jobs' home.

Apple began in April.

In a Californian garage, Larry Page and Sergey Brin also founded Google.

According to a well-known legend, Larry Page and Sergey Brin built the Google search engine in Menlo Park, California. They rented it from Susan Wojcicki, who is currently the CEO of YouTube and is the owner of the home that includes the garage. She charged $1,700 a month back then for the current billionaires.

Google now owns the structure. On its 20th anniversary, which was in 2018, Google reconstructed the garage to commemorate its humble beginnings. By allowing followers to locate the building using Google Maps, it held a wonderful interactive game.

In the beginning, Bill Gates and Paul Allen collaborated on Microsoft in an Albuquerque garage by exchanging ideas.

Their temporary residence was the Sundowner Motel. The original BASIC programming language, which launched everything for Microsoft, was developed here. That motel is now a complex with affordable homes.

Many people know that Jeff Bezos, one of the richest people in the world, founded Amazon in his Bellevue, Washington, home.

It occurred in 1995, and he and his ex-wife MacKenzie Bezos rented the home for $890 per month at the time. In a conversation with The Wall Street Journal, Jeff Bezos said that there was a part of him that made the decision to buy the home because of the garage, which would allow him to tell a Hewlett-Packard-style origin narrative. Who would have thought that Amazon would become as popular as it is today?

The house sold in 2019 for over $1.5 million. It was renovated in 2001, so it doesn't quite resemble the Bezoses' home. Most likely, the garage does not appear the same either. It was consoling to find that the mailbox where Bezos used to receive book catalogs for Amazon is still standing and staying strong there.
