Q. How can I tell if my product is affected by the recall? Not affected by this recall?

A. If you purchasedthis product on or before April 22, 2022, your product is affected. All products purchased after April 22, 2022 are not affected.

Q. I have a garage storage system. Is it affected by this recall?

A. Only (1) Fleximounts garage storage systems that (2) are adjustable (which means they can be raised or lowered from the garage ceiling) are affected. If the garage storage system is a Fleximounts product, it will have a Fleximounts label on the storage rack. If the storage system is adjustable, it will have a crank and be capable of being raised or lowered. Garage storage systems which are securely affixed to the garage ceiling and do not move up or down are not adjustable and are not affected by this recall.

Q. How can I take advantage of the recall?

A. You may continue to register with me or you may visit the verification and registration website at fleximounts.com to check if your storage system is affected by the recall and to obtain additional information on how to repair your storage system.

Q. What is the problem with my storage system?

A. The U-shaped buckles that hold the storage system over the floor can fail, risking collapse and possible injury or damage to other property. As part of our dedication to product quality and safety, and in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, we have decided to implement a voluntary corrective program with respect to these storage systems that replaces the product supports with a more robust system.

Unusual Spacing: Will this overhead rack work for 14 inches ceiling spacing?

Q. My storage system appears to be operating okay. Can I continue to use it?

Q. I no longer have the receipt for the product. Can I still obtain the repair?

A. Yes. You can still get the repair kit without a receipt.

Q. How long will it take for me to get a repair?

A. The repair kit should ship out to consumers within 14 days, and typically sooner than that. The kit can be immediately installed upon receipt.
