1.The GL2FB-E does not include the platform. This is a frame-only item that requires you to add a 4 ft. x 4 ft. sheet of plywood as a platform.
2.With either option you will enjoy the benefits of the Lift Series racks. Lower the rack to load your boxes and raise it back up to the ceiling to store it away. This process will save your back and is much safer than climbing a ladder.
3.Weight capacity is up to 300 lbs. The 4 ft. x 4 ft. platform is large enough to store big heavy items that would be too difficult to lift over your head.
4. The platform lowers 6.5 ft. from the ceiling with the included hand crank.
5. Ideal and recommended ceiling height is 9 ft.
